Responsibility
- perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our high-quality standards
- diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment
- collaborate with sales staff to provide accurate estimates and repair timelines for customers
- inspect vehicles for potential issues and perform necessary repairs to meet our quality requirements
- maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- continuously update technical knowledge through training and professional development opportunities
- provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the repair process
Requirements
- relevant qualification or certification in automotive repair
- 2 years
- minimum of 2 years of experience as a vehicle mechanic, preferably in a dealership or independent garage
- strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- proficient in the use of modern diagnostic tools and equipment
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- MOT testing certification is a plus, but not essential
