Responsibility
- interpreting user requirements and translating and owning the technical product specification for new product developments, 3rd party purchases or lifecycle upgrades
- assessment of 3rd party “buy” options, technical leader for “make” options
- availability and accuracy of product data to include documentation, certifications, performance models, data models and application guidance
- compatibility of system interfaces; interactions with other products
- technology prospecting – current state of the art
- product quality, performance and reliability tracking including identification of initiatives to improve
- useful life of the assets & depreciation recommendations
- support Learning & Development function to deliver technical product training to service and design functions
Requirements
- you will have a degree in power electronics or electrical engineering or a related discipline
- you will have a broad technical knowledge of battery energy storage systems, including Li-Ion chemistries, power electronics and control systems
- proven relevant technical experience in battery energy storage systems
- ability to operate under pressure
