- A-Level or equivalent
Responsibility
- preparing financial statements for a wide variety of clients/industries including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- produce accounting schedules to support balances and transactions included in the financial statements
- adhere to proper accounting standards
- contact clients to address any queries on the accounts
- meet deadlines
- prepare draft tax computations to ensure accuracy of tax provision in the accounts. Determine deferred tax when applicable
- prepare quarterly VAT returns
- analysis of client records to assist in the accounts production process
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience gained in general practice
- experience in cloud bookkeeping software essential
- experience in BTC or other accounts production software
- start date in January 2023
- experience with flat management companies useful but not essential
- current experience in an accounting practice: 3 years
