Responsibility
- assist the pharmacy team in dispensing medication and prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- provide excellent customer service and patient care, ensuring their needs are met
- maintain inventory levels and assist with stock management
- support the pharmacist in delivering pharmaceutical services, including vaccinations and a range of health checks
- comply with all legal, ethical and professional requirements in a pharmaceutical practice, including record-keeping and confidentiality
- collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
- participating in ongoing training and development programs
- conducting prescription screenings and medication reviews with patients, counselling them on medication usage, potential side effects, and precautions, along with answering their inquiries that they may have
Requirements
- currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy degree program within the UK
- completed a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognised UK institution
- eligible for pre-registration training with ProPharmace
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- ability to spot any potential medication errors and query them with the appropriate healthcare professional
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and software is an asset
