Responsibility

  • assess, manage and evaluate grants in line with funder requirements
  • develop, service and manage Grants panel meetings
  • recruit and train a local community grants assessment panel of volunteers
  • assess applications within set timescales
  • ensure integrity of funds and grant making at panel meetings
  • undertake monitoring visits
  • produce grants reports and present to funders and at relevant external fora
  • support VCSE groups with funding applications where appropriate in conjunction with wider BCVS team members

Education

  • educated to degree level or equivalent x
  • strong grant programme management x experience
  • experience of project management, with a strong track record in meeting goals and x objectives
  • professional knowledge and expertise in the x
  • voluntary and Community Sector
  • experience of design and delivery of volunteer x training
  • excellent networking and interpersonal skills x
  • ability to work on own initiative x
