Responsibility
- assess, manage and evaluate grants in line with funder requirements
- develop, service and manage Grants panel meetings
- recruit and train a local community grants assessment panel of volunteers
- assess applications within set timescales
- ensure integrity of funds and grant making at panel meetings
- undertake monitoring visits
- produce grants reports and present to funders and at relevant external fora
- support VCSE groups with funding applications where appropriate in conjunction with wider BCVS team members
Education
- educated to degree level or equivalent x
- strong grant programme management x experience
- experience of project management, with a strong track record in meeting goals and x objectives
- professional knowledge and expertise in the x
- voluntary and Community Sector
- experience of design and delivery of volunteer x training
- excellent networking and interpersonal skills x
- ability to work on own initiative x
