Working hours

Responsibility

  • work together with ECMS teams to protect our people, plants, communities and reputation from the hazards of our processes and products
  • interpret governmental regulations, industry 'best practices' and emerging trends and then develop and communicate recommended actions and/or compliance strategies for ECMS
  • provide process expertise to safely operate our plants by identifying and controlling the hazards of the materials we handle, the chemical processes we run and the physical equipment we use
  • lead design reviews for new, existing and changing processes, ensuring the safe design and on-going operation of our facilities via Process Hazard Analyses , Management of Change, etc
  • continually improve the technical competency of process safety with ECMS colleagues involved with the design and operation of our sites. Provide expert consultation on process safety issues and develop/deliver specific training courses and seminars

Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science
  • established experience in manufacturing or direct manufacturing support roles with an understanding of chemical processing and technologies
  • demonstrated experience in the implementation of Process Safety programs
  • the position will cover the EMEA region
  • hybrid/Home based working will be considered
