Working hours

Responsibility

  • managing the payroll department on a day to day basis
  • communication with clients and third parties via email and telephone
  • processing and calculating weekly, monthly and 4 weekly payrolls using Brightpay
  • processing and calculating statutory payments such as SMP, SPP, ShPP and SSP
  • processing new starters and leavers
  • registering new PAYE schemes with HMRC and pension schemes with The Peoples’ Pension or NEST
  • complying with RTI requirements
  • complying with Auto-Enrolment requirements including assessing staff for eligibility and making pension data submissions to pension providers
