Responsibility

  • bathe, condition, and dry dogs
  • trim nails, brush teeth, and clean ears
  • groom and style dogs according to pet owners' instructions or standard grooming styles
  • accommodate special requests that pet owners may have
  • maintain salon cleanliness and grooming equipment
  • take bookings, answer the phone and deal with enquirers
  • provide excellent customer service
  • must be able to groom a minimum of 4 dog per day

Requirements

  • A level 2 or 3 in dog grooming is preferred / Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dog groomer
  • strong understanding of dog grooming techniques
  • ability to groom all breeds of dogs to a high standard
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent customer service skills
  • love of animals
