Responsibility

  • independently preparing marketing, pitch materials and term sheets
  • proactively engaging with key stakeholders to ensure proper and timely closing of transactions
  • overseeing middle office to ensure payments, waivers and covenants etc are carried out in a timely manner
  • doing spread analysis on clients for credit application
  • performing Due diligence; Onboarding clients, customer due diligence and ensuring KYC files are completed and updated when and if need be
  • leading in origination and execution of new deals/customers to establish new credit facilities to match the business requirements and develop solid business relationships
  • interface and play a strong role in deal coordination for syndicated transactions throughout BoA UK organization
  • assist in the preparation of documentation related to the transactions through origination to closing and ongoing monitoring

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in Trade Finance and Loan Syndication - African Market
  • extensive experience in Corporate Banking including the various types of Trade Finance and Loan Syndication
  • proven record of accomplishment in client management and Corporate Banking transaction activities
  • awareness of market trends, pricing information and underwriting appetite
  • strong knowledge of syndication in both leadership and participant role
  • proven ability and success in generating new business and meeting growth targets
  • excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • strong analytical ability and financial market skills and understanding
