BALLOON DAY NURSERY is looking for employees for positions:

Responsibility

  • assisting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day management and operation of the nursery
  • providing leadership and support to the team of nursery practitioners
  • assisting with the planning and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching and learning in the nursery
  • maintaining health and safety standards in line with legal requirements
  • building positive relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders
  • providing guidance and support to practitioners to ensure they are meeting the individual needs of each child
  • leading on the recruitment and induction of new staff

Requirements

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a managerial or supervisory role in a nursery setting
  • good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
