Responsibility
- site work for time served / experienced Painters & Decorators
- prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as necessary
- apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns
- mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections prior to painting
- protect surrounding areas from paint splatter and overspray
- follow safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment while working
- maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- proven experience as a painter or similar role
- knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- attention to detail and an eye for color and design
- physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- excellent communication and time management skills
- painting: 3 years
