Responsibility

  • appoints staff, assigns tasks and monitors and reviews staff performance
  • establishes and monitors work schedules to meet sales and productivity targets
  • square cash register receipts and make bank deposits
  • keep an eye on competitors and respond to challenges accordingly
  • rotating stock and managing surpluses
  • analyses business records to increase sales
  • plans special events and promotions
  • liaises with other staff to provide information about merchandise, special promotions etc. to customers

Requirements

  • bachelor degree preferable but not mandatory
  • leadership skills
  • excellent verbal communication skills
