  • business analyst

Responsibility

  • conduct reviews of scoping documents to ensure completeness and validation of requirements/ feasibility
  • contribute to scoping documents creation, including adding technical details
  • assist with issue reviews and tracing, including liaising with users to validate results and/or communicate remediation plan
  • liaise with key stakeholders on technical points arising from user queries, including assisting developers
  • contribute to the creation and maintenance of departmental process documentation, including continual improvements
  • assist with regression testing, including supporting the Operational Team in such activities and Unit and SIT where appropriate
  • act as proxy to reporting manager in the CIR calls, calls, including users, contractors and teams calls
  • ensure scoping documents are updated on an ongoing basis, including the update of the documents themselves when amendments are actioned &/or are updated by the developer

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a business / data analyst gained within a business environment
  • ability to compile technical documentation, including requirements elicitation, specification documentation and testing
  • strong problem-solving skills, methodical approach and adherence to change management practices
  • good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients, and third-party suppliers
  • relevant professional qualifications
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • knowledge of report writing tools such as MS Excel, PowerBI, SAS, FrontReports, SSRS
  • knowledge of SQL Server, TSQL and database design
