AYLSHAM GARDEN CENTRE is looking for employees for positions:
- maintenance Person
- the role will be very physical and hands on
- we need a person who has lots of skills and experience and can do all of the above
- will need to be physically fit and strong
- must have a full driving licence
- must has lots of initiative and be able to work alone and as part of our team
- this is a temporary post at the moment approx 6-12 months
- there is a possibility of a permanent role
- A full time, permanent position is available working up to 40 hours per week
- we are looking for an experienced person to cook, bake and to serve delicious, breakfasts, cakes, savouries and lunches
- all food will be cooked from scratch using local ingredients and suppliers where possible
- our coffee shop is open 7 days a week. No evenings or split shifts. This position includes weekend working. Every third weekend off
- involved in ordering stock and ingredients
- controlling stock and minimising waste
- to be successful in this role you'll need the following
- lead and supervise retail staff, providing guidance and support
- monitor sales activities and performance
- manage stock levels
- visual merchandising displays
- resolve customer complaints and issues promptly
- maintain store health and safety and cleanliness
- excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- strong team management capabilities
- effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- previous experience in retail essential
- ability to sell products effectively
- essential skills: Leadership, supervisory experience
- retail sales: 1 year
- supervising experience: 1 year
