Responsibility
- be able to install and maintain all types of lifts
- be able to repair and modernize all types of lifts
- completion of callouts and preventative maintenance visits on all types of lifts
- replace the majority of mechanical, hydraulic, electric and electronic parts of lifts
- assembling and adjusting electrical, electronic and mechanical parts
- abide by Health & Safety - Regulations at all times and Lift Regulations in the UK
- attending sites, examining a wide variety of lifting equipment and issuing reports to clients
- risk assessments in accordance with company procedure
Requirements
- mechanical/electrical experience and/or a relevant engineering or electrical qualifications
- you must be an experienced Escalator Engineer with in-depth knowledge of a variety of different brands of equipment
- NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering is advantage
- flexibility is important, as night working and overtime maybe required
- whilst you must be a team player it is essential that you can also work on your own initiative
- maintenance: 1 year
- minimum 6 years relevant experience required. On the job training provided where required. Other levels of experience considered depending on relevance of experience held
- have in-depth knowledge of a variety of different makes of equipment, demonstrating that you can apply lift engineering principles to achieve continual lift operation
