Responsibility

  • our stock includes Lighting, Video, Rigging, Staging and Audio equipment
  • we now have the opportunity for a Technical Warehouse Supervisor to join our team
  • the role would be ideal for someone with existing experience working in technical production but full training can be provided
  • axiom Events Ltd are one of the North East’s leading event production and rental companies supplying a wide range of products and services to the events sectors mainly in the UK but also overseas
  • the successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Senior Technician to manage the day to day operation of the Leeds warehouse
  • the role will mainly involve maintaining and preparing equipment and supervising a small team of casual staff to deliver equipment to a high standard and on tight deadlines
  • this is a challenging full time role with plenty of scope for future career development in a fast growing company in the events industry
  • undertake deliveries to site when required

Requirements

  • excellent attention to detail and high self-motivation
  • excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability and drive to deliver great customer service
  • ability to work as part of a team and solo under own initiative, with great teamwork skills
  • good time keeping
  • ability to problem solve work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • physical ability to undertake manual labour required for the position
  • flexibility and a can-do attitude
  • previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage but not essential
