Responsibility
- occasional supervision of Estimators/Assistant/Trainee Estimators as and when required. Deputising for Estimating Manager as required
- examine tender documentation and advise Estimating Manager of bid prospects and alternative solutions
- tender Preparation
- preparation of subcontractors enquiries and negotiation of tenders with clients where appropriate
- assist in the preparation of Tender Documentation
- preparation of detailed take-offs and measurements from tender documentation for inputting onto computer estimating system
- preparation of adjudication and final submission information in accordance with the Company procedure and tender strategy
- ensure examination of the clients requirements and objectives and contribute to the setting up of the Tender Strategy accordingly
Requirements
- 5 years of relevant estimating experience for a similar business
- professional qualifications relevant to role
- amtech Estimation software
- good general level of education and communication
