senior engineer
Responsibility
- the role requires working with AVL and customer team members to deliver projects according to the plan
- software and Control development of various systems and features of the electrified powertrain
- electric and Electronic Architecture development, Integration, Commissioning, Testing and sign-off of electrified system and interactions within the vehicle powertrain
- interfacing with customers and reporting on project deliverables
- testing and validation of developed features and architectures against requirements to ensure successful product delivery
Requirements
- MSc/MEng or PhD in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- experience of automotive control systems and calibration
- A working knowledge of vehicle architectures, communication protocols and components
- experience with V-cycle automotive development, System Engineering and Quality tools
- experience with Matlab Simulink, dSpace, Vector or ETAS engineering tools
- experience with vehicle integration and commissioning
- willingness and ability to interface constructively with a global team
- excellent time management and communication skills
