panel beater

  • panel beater

Responsibility

  • removing, repairing or replacing damaged panels including quarter panels
  • repair damaged panels using filler, hammers, dollies, pin pullers etc
  • re-alignment work using jigs
  • welding, riveting, bonding panels when required
  • keep job cards up to date
  • liaise with estimators with additional work needed
  • adhere to relevant repair methodology, providing reports when needed

Requirements

  • previous experience within a Panel Beater role
  • have Level 2 IMI in panel repair or similar
  • be willing to attend training courses to skill up and develop if required
  • full UK Licence
