Responsibility

  • our menu contains a variety of home cooked meals and breakfasts, all produced to a high standard
  • candidates must have some experience of cooking and preferably a food hygiene qualification
  • the role requires organisational ability, excellent cleaning skills, plus awareness of stock rotation, portion control, allergens and presentation skills
  • wage rate negotiable dependent on experience
  • we are looking for a reliable, consistent, conscientious and hard working individual to help in the preparation of hot and cold meals for Cafe Gallery at Avant Garden Centre, Leyland
  • A clean, smart appearance as well as being a good team player, personable and able to work in a busy kitchen environment under pressure are all essential attributes
  • there are no split shifts involved as the garden centre is only open during the daytime, making this is an ideal opportunity to end evening working. Days of work to be decided. A weekend day is included in working days
