Responsibility

  • perform MOT tests on various types of vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, and light commercial vehicles
  • conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components and systems, including brakes, suspension, exhaust emissions, and electrical systems
  • identify any faults or defects and provide accurate assessments of vehicle condition
  • complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the MOT testing process
  • maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

  • valid MOT Tester license
  • strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
  • proficient in using power tools and hand tools
  • ability to lift heavy objects as required
  • excellent attention to detail and ability to identify faults or defects
  • strong communication skills to explain test results to customers
