Requirements
- city & Guilds, ONC or HNC qualification in Engineering discipline
- apprentice trained desirable
- hands-on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
- significant hands-on experience of mechanical equipment, assembly and machine building
- experience of using hand and power tools
- MEWP & FLT qualification advantageous, training can be provided
Responsibility
- construction of mechanical equipment
- installation of equipment at our customer’s locations worldwide
- reading engineering drawings
- ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative
- leading small mechanical teams
- to ensure quality standards are met
- fault finding and rectification
- training and development of junior fitters
