Responsibility
- provide exceptional knowledge of diagnostic capabilities with a good knowledge for electrical components and wiring diagrams
- experience with an independent garage preferred but not essential
- conduct diagnostics, including troubleshooting and replacing faulty parts
- be organised and approachable for less experienced members of staff to be able to learn from
- maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks and repairs
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role as a senior or master technician
- strong technical skills and knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance procedures
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- effective communication skills, both verbal and written
