Requirements

  • A degree in Psychology, medical sciences or another relevant subject
  • A qualification or experience in science communication
  • substantial, senior-level experience of developing and implementing communication strategies
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading
  • experience of managing responses to controversial issues that attract significant media and public interest
  • excellent organisational skills
  • experience of writing engaging articles or news pieces

  • there is scope for working with lead researchers such as Prof
  • sir Simon Baron-Cohen, and media personalities such as our ambassadors Chris Packham and Rav Wilding
  • 1. Overall communications strategy : Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the Communications strategy for both internal and external communications

  • external Communications : Develop and run creative campaigns both for the organisation as a whole, and for specific projects
