- managing content and users in a CMS
- demonstrable knowledge and experience of digital content creation and implementing successful social media campaigns
- proven track record of delivering results against targets and communicating those results in reporting
- delivering social media activity in support of wider marketing activity
- public relations experience including drafting press releases and seeking out new opportunities
- working in the cultural/heritage sector
- working directly with people affected by cancer and long-term health conditions
Responsibility
- write content for, and regularly update the website and other marketing materials, communicating clearly and accurately and inspiring action
- source, research and write effective and engaging news items and press releases
- analyse performance metrics across social media and website, reviewing and updating materials for continuous improvement and optimisation
- manage online communities, facilitate conversations and respond to enquiries
- build effective webpages using Aurora’s Wordpress that ensure high quality user experience and appropriate data collection
- POST: Digital Communications Officer
- to communicate the link between heritage and wellbeing, showcase wider Aurora activities, attract participants, and celebrate the project
- to assist with project evaluation and reporting
