- responsible for day-to-day payroll tasks and to undertake UK and US payroll monthly/bi-monthly submissions respectively working with outsourced payroll providers
- responsible for day-to-day travel and expenses tasks processed via the expenses system
- planning to meet departmental and organisational deadlines
- help co-ordinate complex tasks within team to ensure there is excellent support to the business
- resolve wide-ranging problems and queries quickly and efficiently
Requirements
- A proven track record in a high-volume payroll environment
- detailed knowledge of UK payroll processing, tax/national insurance, Pension Auto Enrolment and RTI
- highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
- the role
- ability to deal with sensitive matters professionally and confidentially
- A good understanding of payroll legislation and processes and keeps up to date with ongoing legislative changes
- understanding of GDPR and how to handle sensitive data
- able to interpret awards and legislation
