- position: Pump Engineer
- our client is expanding, and we are looking to recruit an additional Drainage Engineer to join our Drainage Team to carry out reactive and maintenance works in Central London and surrounding areas on day shifts
- location: Runcorn
- develop and maintain product testing procedures to cover both the UL and CE test processes Generate project documentation for each individual test project, to include Lists of Critical Components, Test specifications and plans within the project timelines
- ensure that internal documentation including unit specifications and BOMs reflect approval status as appropriate
- you will be carrying out PPM and essential repairs, keeping in touch with our 24-hour helpdesk team and providing accurate job updates using our app and making recommendations for further works where necessary
- ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times and goods are checked in and stored in a timely manner
- no two shifts will be the same: you will have to respond to changing events and solve problems in real time
- ensure that appropriately instrumented test samples and any fixtures and measurement equipment is available in a timely fashion, keeping a detailed log of the samples
- ensure UL follow up files are accurate and reflect the latest build standard for the product Host UL follow up visits ensuring any resulting actions are cleared in a timely manner
- assist with ad hoc projects as required What you’ll need
- our clients' properties also require a good grounding with internal drainage, plumbing and camera work, so we would like candidates to have some experience here
- ensure that all drawings, specifications and product data are up to date to support our ISO 9001 / 45001 registration
- hands’ on use of standard test equipment and testing to meet the required standards Ensure relevant test reports are generated and review and approve externally generated reports
- co-ordinate all aspects of the product introduction including launch to sales, project management, installation teams and service engineers
- the successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude and a willingness to develop, along with good communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work well as part of a team
- produce technical specifications to define the requirement for each component including material choice, finish, relevant standards, environmental issues etc
