Responsibility

  • build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs
  • lead the front-end engineering practice and across mobile and web
  • solidify At Last’s design and component system and introduce best practices
  • work with our Head of Product to understand business requirements and inform product decisions to move faster
  • diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks to maximise performance
  • engage with open source community
  • maintain code and write automated tests to ensure our product is of the highest quality
  • enjoy working in a small team, including working in our lovely office in Central London at least 3 to 4 days a week

Requirements

  • ability to learn fast, work quickly and collaboratively and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • experience building responsive front end web applications
  • experience building and maintaining production ready React projects
  • experience with user interface design
  • knowledge of JS/Typescript, CSS, HTML with functional and OO paradigms
  • experience with popular React.js workflows
  • familiarity with Firebase and its toolchain
  • minimum of 5+ years experience working with modern front-end technologies
