Responsibility
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
- loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- communication with dispatchers, customers, and team members including delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage if requested and of any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation
- we still have TWO opportunities for night-shift commercial multi-drop drivers on a self-employed basis to join our Eastbourne-based team for shifts midnight to 10am approx. Some weekend work is required
- we have a friendly team and a reliable commercial client base and are looking to add more team players and good communicators to resource our existing contracts and grow our business further
- safe and efficient operation of a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated location, in accordance with all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements
- A valid Driving Licence
- permission to drive in the UK
- permission to reside and work in the UK
- the ability to carry out manual handling/physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo
- an HMRC UTR number will be required to confirm registration for tax on a self-employed basis
- driving: 2 years
