Requirements

  • valid HGV Class 2

Responsibility

  • waste Transportation: Operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, waste materials between designated locations
  • safety and Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities are conducted in strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards
  • vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on HGV vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
  • documentation: Maintain accurate records of all waste collections, deliveries, and any incidents or accidents
  • customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and address any inquiries or concerns professionally
  • environmental Responsibility: Support recycling and waste diversion efforts to reduce the environmental impact of waste management

welder

Requirements

  • qualified / certified welder
  • minimum 3 years’ additional experience
  • strong diagnostics capabilities and have pride in their work
  • must be organised & self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • ability to understand and carry out instructions via written, verbal, or diagram form

  • be able to work shift work and extra hours as required to keep up with business demands

Responsibility

  • perform routine maintenance and inspection of mobile plant on site
  • perform incidental welding operations and other mechanical repair work as required
  • perform inspections and test mechanical units
  • use of oxy/acetylene gas cutting equipment, abrasive wheel cutting
  • welding using mig and arc welding equipment
  • ability to use power and hand tools
  • must be able to work as part of a team and individually

electrician

Requirements

  • completed a recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship, City & Guilds Electrical qualification or relevant NVQ Level 3
  • IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • MEWP / IPAF trained - Desirable
  • woking at height / harness Training - Desirable
  • competent to safely use a variety of basic hand tools, portable electrical equipment, electrical testing equipment
  • forklift / telehandler trained - Desirable
  • basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • IOSH Working Safely - Desirable

Responsibility

  • to abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved Company safety policies & processes and other relevant legislation is followed. To ensure compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • ensure that tools required for tasks are kept in good condition and that all defects are reported immediately
  • to provide electrical repair and maintenance skills including fault identification and analysis to facilitate repairs, improvements, inspections, adjustments and refurbishments to agreed standards
  • ensure all work is completed in a safe and timely manner and where required details of work carried out is reported to relevant Supervisor and recorded on Maintenance managements systems
  • performing other duties as requested by the supervisor and management team

supervisor

Responsibility

  • any disciplinary issues to be discussed with the Site Manager and HR Department before the start of any proposed process
  • to ensure that all Health and Safety systems and procedures are communicated effectively to all staff, third parties and visitors enabling them to comply with all site rules and regulations at all times
  • to provide a permanent monitoring and supervision presence on site including the yard and recycling building areas
  • reporting to the Site Manager you will have day to day responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient operation of the site

maintenance manager

Responsibility

  • compile stock lists and record attrition rates for consumable items and parts
  • to ensure the Static plant at across all AWM sites are maintained, records are kept accurately, and work is planned efficiently and recorded to a high standard
  • order all required components with collaboration with management

payroll administrator

Responsibility

  • send the agency hours off to the agency on the correct timesheets on a weekly basis
  • ensure all payroll information and reports are sent to the accounts department
  • ensure all paperwork is scanned onto each employees file on the shared Drive and filed away in the correct file in the payroll cupboard
  • sign off each agency invoice and add the hours to the agency cost analysis, each invoice needs coding to the correct site
  • record holidays and sickness accurately through TMS
  • print P32’s for each company are submitted to the accounts department so payment can be made

general operative

Responsibility

  • to ensure all required PPE is worn at all times
  • any task deemed appropriate for your role
  • keep the site clean and tidy
  • cover Loading Shovel when required

revenue manager

Responsibility

  • ensure that revenue and cost of sales is correctly accounted for each month across each business within UK Processing
  • ensure that intercompany transactions are correctly recorded, using knowledge of business operations across the UK
  • review gross margin and explain variances to budget and KPIs
  • work with the FP&A team to align the accounting and reporting with weekly insight reports, correctly reflecting operational performance
  • investigate and resolve queries and discrepancies, collaborating with the wider finance, IT and Operations teams
  • interrogate the systems to ensure accurate reporting
  • ensure robust accounting of revenue and cost of sales accruals on the balance sheet
  • present monthly results to FC, FD and CFO

Requirements

  • fully qualified accountant
  • strong financial control experience, both P&L and Balance Sheet
  • proactive approach to resolving queries

  • experience of working in industry & commerce is preferable
