Responsibility
- participate in approving new models in AMU manufacturing unit to the agreed specification and quality standard
- responsible for arranging the training of new Quality Control staff, offering continuous training and support to the wider quality team
- quality training of new products into manufacturing quality team
- taking ownership of providing the Quality team with Making guides/Specification documents for current manufactured models
- assist in performance management measures
- uphold quality standards in all sections of manufacturing meeting agreed KPI’s
- independently review returns/rejected product to route cause faults
- to assist and conduct internal process audits to satisfy the requirements of kitemark certification or any other governing body
Requirements
- previous experience of furniture manufacturing processes and Quality Management systems
- previous experience as an Auditor in ISO 9001 or working knowledge of such quality management systems is desirable
- high level of attention to detail
- flexible approach and can-do attitude
- good communication and interpersonal skills
