Responsibility

  • provide technical assistance and expertise for managing maintenance activities and other activities within the remit of the post
  • assist in the Maintenance of Flood and Pollution Infrastructure including inspections, pump maintenance and monitoring systems maintenance
  • inspection of Civil Engineering Infrastructure
  • assist with the completion of appropriate documentation as required, i.e
  • operations manuals, risk assessments, method statements, inspection reports / log books, stores requisitions, cost coding, vehicle daily inspection reports, job reports
  • maximising the Civil Engineering Infrastructure availability through good maintenance practices, typically including small asphalt repairs , concrete repairs and repairs and maintenance to water hydrants, line markings, street furniture and fencing
