Responsibility

  • transport – Management of the transport function & resources
  • team – Responsible for the management and development of the Transport Controller
  • vehicle Availability – Main transport contact for the Compliance team, ensuring that assets are available to fulfil the transport plan
  • driver Engagement – Responsibility for ensuring that driver start of shift brief & end of shift de-briefs are completed, issues are addressed, and corrective actions taken
  • driver Admin – Responsibility for the return of all Pod’s for all deliveries, and the completion of the administration tasks associated with the delivery paperwork, including answering POD queries from the accounts department and from customer request
  • daily Vehicle Checks – Transport Responsible Person for ensuring that all DVIR checks are completed daily and that defects are raised and actioned
  • maintenance Schedules – Main transport contact for the Compliance & Planning function, ensuring that assets are released in line with the schedules
  • collections & Deliveries – Transport Responsible Person for monitoring and tracking collections and deliveries. Customer, Driver & other depot communications
