Responsibility
- gain a strong understanding of our audience, the needs and interests of its members, and what makes them tick
- immerse yourself in the community, monitor conversations, spot emerging voices and talent - and use these insights to adapt the social media strategy and content calendar
- be on top of the latest social media trends and best practices, to make sure our content is produced in relevant formats and every channel is utilised to its full potential
Requirements
- creativity and storytelling. You are a source of original ideas for social content, passionate and curious about all aspects of the business, from which you’ll gain inspiration for social content
- knowledge of video production, video editing and copywriting would be a definite plus
- A strategic approach to your work. While we seek creativity, every decision needs to be based on careful consideration of the business and teams’ needs, and will have to be measured to monitor effectiveness and ROI. You’ll love a bit of data
- A proactive self-starter, you’ll be able to function independently, but also work well with a diverse team and build relationships across the business
- excellent organisational and planning skills. You will develop content hand-in-hand with the Creative team, in order to deliver through feasible and achievable timelines
- meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. You will be the brand guardian for our social output, and will take pride in always delivering consistent quality across the board
- an interest in marketing beyond social media. You will sit at the centre of the marketing team, and will lend a hand to other projects and formats that require social media expertise
