Responsibility

Requirements

  • creativity and storytelling. You are a source of original ideas for social content, passionate and curious about all aspects of the business, from which you’ll gain inspiration for social content
  • knowledge of video production, video editing and copywriting would be a definite plus

head of marketing

Responsibility

  • you’ll own marketing strategy, go-to-market planning and execution of Cannes Lions Festival and Awards marketing year-round
  • you’ll collaborate with our regional festival teams and advise on marketing strategy and planning
  • identify impactful product positioning, key messaging, and effective targeting strategies using existing customer personas
  • achieve revenue goals through effective delivery of marketing objectives for customer acquisition and retention
  • you’ll line-manage a team of two, delivering awards & regional festival marketing
  • work closely with Creative, Press and Digital Marketing teams, writing briefs that enable the delivery of a world-class marketing campaign
  • you’ll report regularly on campaign activity to all levels of stakeholder across the business
  • you’ll stay close to customers, communicating with customers and internal stakeholders regularly to develop an insight-led marketing strategy that answers clear customer needs

Requirements

  • strong experience in marketing, ideally working on or close to an event
  • experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • good knowledge of the creative communications industry is advantageous
  • experienced as a presenter, both in person and virtually
  • experienced briefing internal creative teams or agencies

designer

Responsibility

  • implement the Ascential brand identity system across all touch points, working in close collaboration with colleagues across the group
  • produce a wide range of design collateral across digital and print
  • design creative and impactful presentation decks for key events
  • manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet project deadlines
  • maintain and organise a library of brand assets, ensuring easy accessibility for internal stakeholders
  • ensure and maintain brand consistency throughout all visual elements
  • support the growth of Ascential’s social media profiles through the creation of visually engaging content

Requirements

  • minimum 4 years experience as a Brand Designer, either agency or brand side
  • excellent communication skills, adept at effectively conveying design solutions to stakeholders without a design background
  • passionate about design fundamentals and possess exceptional visual design skills
  • well-informed about the graphic design industry and up-to-date with the latest trends
  • capable of working under pressure, thriving in fast-paced environments with tight and frequently changing deadlines
  • ability to generate innovative ideas, implement impactful designs, and drive project progress
  • all applications must include a link to previous work examples or a portfolio
