Responsibility
- as a Senior Support Worker, you will be assisting those we support with day-to-day living skills, encouraging and developing their independence
- to undertake the role of keyworker for specific service users
- to participate in assessing and planning to meet the individuals needs
- we are currently looking to recruit 3 Senior Support Workers to join our supported living services. The locations we are recruiting for are the Patcham area of Brighton, the Whitehawk area of Brighton and our Hove service
- assist service users in their personal care when appropriate
- undertake tasks of a domestic nature, e.g. purchasing food, cooking, laundry, house cleaning etc
- participate in actives with service users, such as long fast paced walks, swimming, cycling and bowling
- you will work with individuals, their families and other professionals to help support them to partake in educational, occupational as well as leisure activities
Requirements
- providing care: 3 years
- supervisory: 1 year
