- taking telephone and email enquiries
- communicating with customers to understand their needs and identify sales opportunities
- providing quotations to Customers
- arranging delivery of goods to Customers
- building a close working relationship with both Customers and Suppliers
- answer customer questions, resolving their concerns and providing information via calls and emails
- as an internal sales representative, the role will be focused around communicating with customers, via phone calls or emails, in order to understand their needs before then working with them to supply the products that they require
- develop and maintain new Customer business
Requirements
- excellent customer service skills
- some existing knowledge of plumbing products
- strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good numeracy skills to accurately calculate sales prices, discounts, and percentages when needed
- time management skills
- sales: 3 years
- plumbing, heating, engineering knowledge or: 3 years
