- 3: Proactively plan each shift, including activities in order to positively manage children’s behaviour. Ensure effective and clear information and handovers with your staff teams so that effective behaviour management is taking place
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- experience working with young with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour is desirable
- have full and verifiable employment or student history that shows consistency
- understand the needs and rights of young people with complex needs
- demonstrate an understanding of the behaviours and the learning difficulties associated with Young People
- be able to support the young people with domestic duties
- all appointments are made subject to two satisfactory professional references
- be patient, resourceful, and level headed in coping with challenging behaviours
- model behaviour and relationships with the children
