Responsibility

  • an exciting opportunity awaits you to join a remarkable team of 7 family-run businesses specializing in structural engineering and surveying services
  • located in Bromley, Kent, this position offers you the chance to collaborate with other skilled structural engineers and surveyors
  • together, you will tackle a variety of projects, primarily focusing on domestic assignments with some light small-scale commercial work
  • prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
  • perform construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
  • collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on the design and construction of projects
  • working days may vary depending on the scale and size of projects
  • working five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm

Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • structural Engineering: 5 years
  • structural Engineering: 1 year

Education

  • bachelor's
  • GCSE or equivalent
