Responsibility
- serve as a subject matter and domain expert for a wide variety of technical aspects of our Products
- help to determine requirements for the future products/versions based on business and market needs
- produce specifications and determine feasibility
- integrate subsystems into a fully functional software system
- verify and validate issues in the products reported by customers and internal users
- propose, implement and validate solutions to these issues
- collaborate with the entire product development team to shape product and technology direction
Requirements
- phD/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Building Engineering with building energy performance assessment experience
- science of building energy usage, building retrofit analysis, and cost calculations
- software development projects
- software development methodology, piloting, and release processes
- establishing products route to market strategies
- communicating results of research and development to colleagues
- test- and customer-driven development
- software engineering tools
