- you will collaborate on projects as well as working independently as required
- all in a wide range of opportunities as well as an interesting and diverse workload
- the role will see you working on existing products and looking at continual improvement. The role will include research & development towards new products as well as an involvement in production of products for customers
Requirements
- enthusiasm for electronics and working in manufacturing
- sound problem solving skills
- some mechanical skills and an understanding of the interaction between mechanics and electronic/electrical parts of a product
- having a good understanding of motor technologies, i.e brushed, brushless, AC induction motors
- experience in designing, building and programming control boxes, PCBs, microprocessors, controllers and similar components and interfacing these with firmware
- A full understanding of voltage, power and ampage and how to test and control such
- A degree or appropriate level qualifications in a relevant area such as electronics, or have completed modules in electronics within your learning/course
- experience of designing and simulating electrical circuits
