Responsibility
- manage the purchase ledger function efficiently and accurately
- process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders
- analyse discrepancies and unpaid invoices
- perform data entry tasks related to accounts payable
- utilize accounting software - QuickBooks/DEXT to maintain financial records
- collaborate with the General Manager to ensure timely payments to suppliers
- assist in month-end closing activities
- support the Contracts Team in resolving any issues or discrepancies
Requirements
- proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role
- proficiency in using accounting software - QuickBooks
- strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies in financial documents
- excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- AAT qualifications required
- understanding of accounts payable procedures and principles
- ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- purchase ledger: 4 years
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
