I worked in Wokingham for Wickes starting from 7:30 - 19:00 and we decided that they pay us a 12 hour shift every day.
When I called to check my hours, instead of 72 hours they paid us 61.
They cut our meal breaks by 6 hours + the rest of the hours we don't know why they didn't pay us!
that was the first week.
The second week we worked for 3 and a half days and they only paid us for 2 and a half days!
Both I and my colleague were robbed massively!
shame, shame, shame, agency Approved!
When you called to check on your hours, did they provide any explanation or breakdown for the discrepancy in the hours paid versus hours worked? I think all that was not specified in the contract..
Looking at the job offer from Approved Workforce for Joiners in Leicester, it mentions that the duties include 2nd fix and final fix work, specifically ironmongery. The salary mentioned is £23 per hour, which seems competitive. However, it would be helpful to know if there are opportunities for longer-term contracts or potential for permanent employment. Additionally, the job post requires a CSCS card and PPE. Can someone confirm if the CSCS card needs to be a specific type, such as a skilled worker card?
I would be glad if APPROVED WORKFORCE had fuel card just like HI RECRUITMENT, what does it look like?
Is it fun to work at APPROVED WORKFORCE? Are the management and the team very welcoming? What is the communication in the company?
Would anyone recommend working at this company? Do they offer good working conditions in the Maintenance Plumber role?
