Responsibility

  • lay bricks to construct walls, arches, and other structures
  • cut and trim bricks using hand tools or power tools
  • interpret blueprints to determine the layout of structures
  • repair existing brickwork or masonry
  • use mortar to bind bricks and stones together
  • ensure structures are level and aligned correctly

Requirements

  • proven experience in bricklaying and masonry work
  • familiarity with carpentry techniques
  • knowledge of various types of bricks, stones, and mortar
  • ability to work at heights on roofs or scaffolding
  • proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • welding skills would be advantageous
