- perform precise fitting, mounting, and balancing of tyres on a wide variety of wheels, including alloy wheels, steel wheels, and custom rims, using advanced tyre fitting techniques and equipment
- interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their inquiries, explaining tyre-related options, and providing expert guidance on tyre selection, performance, and maintenance
- ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of tyre fitting equipment, including tyre changers, balancers, air compressors, and other related tools, reporting any maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
Requirements
- previous experience as a Tyre Fitter, is highly desirable
- expertise in tyre fitting techniques, including mounting, balancing, and fitting tyres on various wheel types and sizes
- strong understanding of different tyre brands, models, and their performance characteristics
- attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work to ensure precise fitting and alignment
- excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and provide expert advice
- ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting wheel restoration projects as required
- proficiency in using tyre fitting equipment and tools, including tyre changers, balancers, and other related machinery
- knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to tyre fitting and wheel restoration activities
