Requirements

  • technical or operational degree / HND / HNC; e.g., BEng in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
  • engine officer STCW regulation II/2 supplemented by shore-side quality awareness or auditing training
  • electrotechnical officer STCW regulation III/6 supplemented by shore-side quality awareness or auditing training

Responsibility

  • desktop analysis of engineering system drawings
  • production of Failure Modes and Effects Analyses
  • production of DP Proving & Annual Trials programmes
  • attending vessels to witness test programmes, gather information and resolve technical issues
