\*Salary will be prorated according to contracted hours\*JOB OVERVIEWReporting directly to the Payroll Manger you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of your own portfolio of clients on a weekly and monthly basis, submitting of CIS Returns and basic payroll admin.RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIESOrganising Payroll for our clientsResponsible for all aspects of running a payroll from start to finishResponsible for a portfolio of clients with varied frequencies and complexitiesReconciling payroll reportsHigh volume/multiple payrollsAuto enrolment and pension submissionsRTI SubmissionsProcessing statutory paymentsHandling client payroll queriesYear end returnsCIS ReturnsGeneral Payroll housekeeping and upkeep of spreadsheets and systems.Any other ad hoc admin requiredSKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE1 Year minimum experience in a similar roleExperience of working with Sage 50 payroll preferred but not essential, full training can be provided.Experience of Auto Enrolment processesKnowledge of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) is preferred.Good understanding of PAYE, NI RTI, SMP, SSP and other HMRC Statutory regulationsAble to work to strict deadlinesHigh level of accuracy and strong attention to detailExcellent Excel skillsConfident communicatorAble to learn systems and processes quicklyTeam player who is keen to take ownership of their own portfolio but enjoys autonomy to work aloneStrong initiativeExcellent organisational skills and able to multitaskHOURSFlexible hours, Monday - Wednesday.Additional hours may be required from time to time to cover annual leave.BENEFITS & REWARDSCompetitive
