Responsibility

  • conduct detailed client consultations to assess individual needs, preferences, and medical history prior to each session
  • ensure a calm, comfortable, and private environment for each client during their session
  • maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans, session notes, and progress documentation
  • educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide recommendations for post-treatment care
  • ensure the therapy room is clean, organized, and prepared with all necessary supplies for each session
  • comply with company policies, health and safety standards, and industry ethical guidelines
  • engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and stay current with industry practices
  • provide a range of massage techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, customised to client needs

Requirements

  • certified Level 3 or above Massage Therapist
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Massage Therapist, with proficiency in various massage techniques
  • strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • A caring, empathetic approach with a genuine interest in improving clients’ wellbeing
  • ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to work both weekdays and weekends as needed
  • membership with a recognised professional body is advantageous
  • massage Therapy: 3 years
