Responsibility
- we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team
- past experience of working in and managing a fast paced kitchen environment is essential
- candidates with the drive to go above the established standards is desirable
- opportunities for progression within this and our other restaurants is also available
- we are looking for a professional chef who can produce menu dishes and food items to meet the standards of the business and support the Head Chef in kitchen operations to give our customers the perfect experience they expect
- maintaining a high standard of food safety and hygiene is essential at all points of food preparation and production; as is the ability to fully deputise in all relevant areas in the absence of the Head Chef
Requirements
- proven experience and responsibility in a busy, fast paced kitchen
- excellent knowledge and implementation of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- strong problem solving and organisational skills
- ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- high standard of personal presentation desirable
- good awareness of industry standards and trends
