vehicle technician
Responsibility
- the ideal candidate must have some experience of working on commercial vehicles including; new panel fitment and repair/fitting of vehicle equipment
- full UK driving licence is needed
- hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12.30pm Friday
- overalls and safety footwear will be provided
- paid breaks
- salary dependent on experience
- candidates will also under take tasks involving ambulance lighting, access ramps, internal and external equipment fittings. But in depth training will be given
- due to the nature of the ambulance vehicles that are involved, a great attention to detail is required in all aspects of the job. In all cases, vehicles must be attended to quickly, therefore efficient working practices must be adhered to
