- constantly assessing the young person’s needs and risk assessments to ensure their safety
- ensure that young person’s care plans are followed so young people have as much possible control over their future as possible
- assist young people to maximise their finances effectively and to develop their budgeting skills
- ensuring that all young person’s personal records are kept up to date
- accurately completing the young person’s daily logs
- attending meetings with young people and other inter-agencies
- add young people’s appointments to the young person’s noticeboard and to the computerised calendar. To inform management of important meetings
- to give a verbal handover to the next staff member on shift
